How do Mod Movers and Storage ensure all your items are returned to you?
Even though Mod Movers offer traditional storage services, we take special pride in our pickup and delivery service in California. When you opt for it, all you have to do is give us a call, and you will get a precise date of our arrival.
During your initial pickup, we photograph and make inventory for each item, so there is a record of what is in storage and what condition the item was received in. Within 5 business days of your initial pick up, your online inventory will be accessible in a shared Google doc. We will notify you when the information of your storage items has been completed. We take a picture of the outside of the box and upload pictures along with the description of each item in the box. Once your online storage catalog has been uploaded, please verify all the items picked up are there. Your items will always be organized and accessible. You will never have to hassle with a storage unit again.
How does the storage pickup work?
Self-storage with a pick up – that is what we call our full-service storage! We will meet you at your location with our small trucks. Our team then loads the truck and photographs and makes an inventory of each storage item or box that will be stored. Within 3 to 5 business days, you will receive a Google docs link to view your storage account and see your complete storage inventory!
Pickup and Delivery Processes
- Pickup at Origin – Time is measured upon arrival and stops at departure. The time to unload and secure items into storage is then estimated by the crew lead. The job is closed out, and payment is taken when the last item(s) are loaded into our truck.
- Delivery to Origin – When an item or items are requested to be returned, the clock starts ticking at the time when loading starts and stops when the last item (s) are loaded onto the truck. When the crew arrives at the drop-off point, the time resumes until the last item (s) are delivered.
