I wouldn’t often give a 10 (i.e. a “perfect” score), but that is simply how well MOD did – they did perfectly! From the setup, to the estimate, to the move, and then the follow up I just can’t praise these guys enough. I have now used them twice and they will be my first go-to the next time I need to move.

As storage customers, I have known Marlene Jesse, and their team, for over a year. They are always a pleasure to work, with and have gone above and beyond for me, on multiple occasions, under tight turnaround schedules. The move, load Professionally a moving truck, Clean the house; that was awesome you can’t ask for a better job, and then the clean the carpets. Wow! Where to start. I was helping some friends move (I know, unheard of right!) but little did I know they hired some much needed help. These guys were on it, covered up all the corners of walls with cardboard and heavy cloth wrap, wrapped all furniture including the piano and packed their truck to the brim! It was like a perfect tetris game in that thing. The unload went exactly the same. All the movers were professional throughout and went above and beyond to make sure my friends were satisfied before they left. A+++++

This was my first time using this service but I’d have to say we made the right choice. Mod Movers went above and beyond service, making my move feel stress free. They took care of everything from collapsing to reassembling pieces throughout the entire house. Pricing was also very reasonable. If you want safe and reliable movers, then I would recommend Mod movers.

These guys were awesome. They were super friendly and professional. You could tell they were very experienced and cared about not messing up your stuff and walls. They had guys that could lift heavy heavy objects like our upright piano and helped me move our pool table to a different spot. They even knew not to roll the piano along the wood floors, instead they lifted it. Great bunch of guys that have worked together for a while. Best moving crew and experience I have ever had.

Manual and his crew were awesome!! They did our complete move in only 3 hours. I will definitely call Mod Movers again if I ever need a moving service. And I will recommend them every chance I get. Again, thank you and your crew!!

I recently contracted MOD movers to assist me in my move! I could not be happier with the services provided. They showed up right on time at 7 am and by 3 pm same day I was enjoying the sun and swimming in the pool at my new residence! The crew was efficient, friendly, and very professional. All of my items were packed with diligence and care and it was so AMAZING to have this support during a stressful time. I would recommend MOD movers to anyone who needs help moving. I’ve even heard they have helped move Jerry Rice and Howie Long! This is a company that is dedicated to professional and competent standards and it really meant a lot to me that they are bonded, licensed, and insured. Honestly, I didn’t know if I was moving or walking on water because thats how easy and stress free this move was. Contracting MOD movers was some of the best money I have ever spent. A big thank you to you and your boys! Our experience with your company was wonderful and we would highly recommend you. Your crew was on the move! Everything was packed on the truck quickly and efficiently and unloaded safely and placed just where we wanted it. I was nervous about that 300 pound elliptical, no problem for those guys! My husband and I just stood there and watched, amazed that they were able to navigate doorways and corners with the most awkward pieces.

Mod Movers did a fabulous job moving my household goods. The fellows were more more than helpful moving all of my furniture and doing a little extra things that I needed down that we’re not originally stated I can very highly recommend them to anybody that needs moves. They are a five star moving company.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! The short story is that I used them for a move from Monterey to San Diego, and from booking my moving date with Marlene to saying goodbye to Jesse and Manual in SD, every single encounter was professional, courteous, timely, friendly and kind. Truly, TRULY, a wonderful moving experience with Mod Movers!

The long story: I gave myself an extremely short amount of time to move my family to San Diego for a new job. I found Mod Movers on Angie’s List so I called them out of desperation and spoke with Marlene. Not only did she do her best to kindly ease my stress, but she also accommodated both our house inspection and actual move within the tight timeframe we needed (which was merely days later). Not to mention, they said they could deliver our belongings within ONE day — which apparently is unheard of! (It normally takes about a week to get your things from other moving companies.)

My husband handled the move out of Monterey and he said that the 4 gentlemen that loaded up the truck were super nice, efficient and helpful. The next morning, I met 2 of them (Jesse and Manual) at our new place in San Diego. Again, the one-day turnaround was astounding! Since I personally worked with them, I can attest to the move-in experience — they were cautious and caring about our items, they were extremely personable and pleasantly conversational, they were efficient and calm and made the move much, much easier than I expected. And, on a personal note, I also encountered an issue w/my 10-month-old baby girl while they were there and both Jesse and Manual were as kind and caring as could be, telling me stories about their own families and kids to calm my nerves.

I would HIGHLY recommend Mod Movers for a number of reasons — reduced stress around moving, professional service, very competitive pricing, and overall really great individuals behind the business. Thank you!!

I had an amazing experience using Mod Movers. They are professional, friendly (seriously, it feels like they are your actual friends) attentive, skilled, accommodating, and well-priced. You don’t feel like a number with Mod Movers. It feels as if your move is as important to them as it is to you, that your belongings and their safe arrival is critical for them as for you. Finally, what you see is what you get. No hidden costs or fees. Everything is very transparent. I wholly recommend Mod Movers and will be using them again for sure.

Honestly, Mod Movers is the best moving company I’ve ever known. I’m in the military and have moved 8 times in 8 years. Some moves have gone ok, but nothing I felt good enough to recommend to my friends. Josh and Jesse were so carful with antiques that I’ve collected from around the world. The entire group of guys that moved me were extremely professional and knew exactly what they were doing, and I really appreciated that. There was no guys standing around Lee with my other moves. I watched Josh keep directing the guys and keep my move going at a great pace. I know I would have paid more with anyone else! They moved me out of a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom and a garage that was in total chaos. They packed and moved me in a day and a half and I couldn’t have been more satisfied! I recommend Mod Movers to all my friends in the military and elsewhere.
